2009 A4 Volume too Loud on startup & IPOD question
 

Hi, I am a little confused about my radio. Whenever I start my car I get a fairly loud preset volume on the radio. I can not find anywhere in the MMI to change this. There is a GALA setting I have no idea what is it for and a volume setting under that, that is set at the lowest. Where can I set or disable this? I want the volume to start at whatever I left it at?

Very frustrating getting used to this MMI system.

One other question. Anyone know if a mini usb plug is available for the stereo system to replace the IPOD one? And a place to buy it cheaper than the dealership?

I couldn't find any settings that can be changed. I know we had a volume set-up in the B7. I'll look into it. I take it you've read the manual already : )

Ya, I have looked all through the MMI for some kind of setting. On my 2006 A4 of course the volume was where you left it, or if the stereo was off, when you started up, it was still off. This one every time I start the car I get the stereo on a fairly high volume. Not deafening or anything, just annoying.
