Weird Service Interval Problem

Re: Weird Service Interval Problem
Alright so to get to the bottom of this issue, I argued with the dealer for a long time. They said they used synthetic oil and blah blah blah with some bullshit and a cherry on top. The reason they do this is so they can service the car more frequently because this is where their money is made in the long run. They say every 15k because your car will start breaking down earlier. I changed it every 7k as the second oil change was always free because I was under warranty. Another reason they do this is because most of the audis have warranty and they want to waste less of their money by providing a properly timed oil change. This is where the greed kicks in and it sucks.

Re: Weird Service Interval Problem
Suggest change engine oil every 5K to 7K KM's, perhaps a bit longer with a mid top up to replenish base stock esp when using synthetic. The interval is really up to you but most agree 15K KM is too long. Do oil analysis if you really want to know how far you can safely go between oil changes.
Some of the TB Change Intervals are a little long but recommend to follow Audi Service Maintenance Schedule for everything else.
