VAG-COM Code Verification
I have searched this forum and another looking for the codes for my A4 B7 2.0 Canadian car. and i just want to make sure that i have the correct info as well i wanted to know if anyone know the correct on for my car to do Windows up/down from keyfob, needle sweep, Add 1 touch unlock of all 4 doors, trunk, add extra delayed wipe after the 3 normal ones when using washer fluid.
I'm new to this and really dont know much about it but if i can get the correct codes i know someone who will help me do it. thanks!
Windows up/down with key FOB
Address 46 - Central Convenience
11820 default
11884 windows up/down with key FOB *can only close sunroof, not open.
Recode locking options
[Select]
[35 - Cent. Locks]
[Recode - 07]
Enter the coding below
[Do It!]
S4, A4 1998+ with Concert/Symphony radio, anti-theft system and keyless entry
Standard Coding: 16140
Add the following options to your coding number:
+64 Windows up, sunroof close, and windows down with remote.
-04 One touch unlock of all 4 doors and trunk
-1024 Remove horn honk when arming
+32 Auto lock/unlock of doors (Doors lock at 15 mph and unlock when key is removed)
So, if you want to have a 1999 A4 with Concert radio and anti-theft system and keyless entry, and you want to add window control with the remote along with auto-lock, then:
add 03340+64+32= 03436
In Module 46 - Central Convenience:
State Bit Dec. Function
ON 0 1 windows up with remote
ON 1 2 windows down with remote
ON 2 4 windows up with key in lock
ON 3 8 windows down with key in lock
ON 4 16 sunroof close with remote
OFF 5 32 sunroof open with remote (does not appear to work)
ON 6 64 sunroof close with key in lock
OFF 7 128 sunroof open with key in lock (does not appear to work)
So esentially if your coding is for example 11836 and you want to add the close sunroof function you would add 64 to that number so you are at 11900 and click do it!!!
Usually on the new vag-com program adding 64 adds windows up and down function as far as I remember I would have to double check

Re: VAG-COM Code Verification
I'm pretty sure needle sweep isn't possible for the B7, but you have the idea on how to adjust the coding for the convenience windows. Adding the "tear drop" wipe to your wiper functions is in Adaptation Channel 13 under Central Electronics. I thought "one touch" locks could be set up with the car, not needing VAG-COM. (It's been a little while for me though.)
Here's a couple of helpful links for the B6/B7 A4:

Re: VAG-COM Code Verification
Scan your car with a modern version of VAG and it will tell you the coding of each module. You need to know your car module coding before making any changes. Newer VAG will also tell you what numbers to add or subtract to enable the features you want. One possible "gotcha" with the windows open & close via keyfob coding change is that on some models there is no pinch protection when using this feature (not sure if it's all models so you would have to test on your own car to be sure). This is why most dealers are reluctant or may even refuse to enable this feature.

Re: VAG-COM Code Verification
After last nights meet you are thinking on doing the same things that I would like to do. I am planning on purchasing my own VAG COM and software sometime this summer so that I don't have to impose on others.
Let me know how you make out?
