Turn signal lever return noise level

Turn signal lever return noise level
Hi, I am currently thinking about buying an A4 or an A6. The dealer I am working with gave me an 2006 A6 and a 2008 A4 to drive for a few hours each. I loved the cars, but one thing that drove me crazy when I was driving each car was how loud the "click" is when the turn signal lever returns to its standby position when you complete a turn. I was way louder than any other car I have driven.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a way to reduce the sound? I love these cars but can't buy one unless I can find away to address this problem!

I guess sometimes the small things are irritating, but I can't say this bothers me on my '07. Not sure that there would be an easy fix for this... Turn the music up I guess

I have an 04 A4 and I don't notice any such sound. Personnaly I love the way you can push the lever up or down (not hard enough to click), and it will flash the indicator light 3 times.
