Default Starting Problem

Hello,
As a freshly minted member, it's been interesting reading the different issues and upgrades other A4 owners are dealing with. I have a question regarding an issue with my 2007 A4 Avant. I go to insert the key into the ignition, turn it over, release the key, the car continues to try to turn over!?!? I go to do it again and it sometimes will fire and sometimes will continue to turn over. This happens when the car sits for a while after having been run earlier. When I go to start it in the morning, things are fine. Thanks for any help given.

Continuing to turn overs sounds like the starter motor solenoid could be sticking. Check all the connections around the starter motor first.

Thanks for the starter connections info. I'll have them checked.
