Shift Selector Lever is getting stuck
Hey All,
This is my first post. I searched the forum and found nothing like this. I have 2006 Audi A4 with an auto transmission. It seems the little plastic piece (oval shape) around the selector lever is popping out of the rubber housing on both sides. This is causing the lever to get stuck and will not let you put the car in park or drive, unless you use some gentle persuasion. This seems like a rather gimmickly piece of plastic, but yet crucial to the operation of the car properly. Anybody had this problem and know how to fix it permanently? I've been able to put in back in place, but it only lasts for a day or so and the same problem comes back.
Thanks
