Default navigation/dvd

Hi new on this. My Audi a4 2007 has a navigation/dvd. Does that mean that I can play a dvd on that screen or that it is only for the navigational dvd??

It should be for both, have you even tinkered with it yet or read any paperwork that came with it?

As far as I know, the DVD drive is for the Nav DVD. I don't think you can play a DVD movie from the head unit. You might have to disable VIM (video in motion) to do so.

Maybe check out
