Looking for someone to install RNS - E
I am a new member and this is my first post.
I purchased a used Rns E for my 2006 A4 and I am looking to get a quote from someone to have it installed. The unit comes with all the adapters and antenna.

usually the guys on here do it for a 6pack of beer. It is a very easy install, remove the old radio, unplug and then plug this one in and slide it back into the slot. 10 minutes tops!

Thanks for the replies guys. I was more worried about where to place the GPS antenna. A couple of pointers from anyone that has done it themselves would be really appreciated.
I purchased mine on Ebay for $730 including shipping.

Re: Looking for someone to install RNS - E
nice price!
is it the magnetic one or the one that connects to the sharkfin? if magnetic one then you need to remove cluster panel. super easy only 2x torx25 screws. cluster will slide out and then you stick to on the metal bracket there and just use zip tie to tie up the extra line and tuck it in about the glove box.
pm me if you need some more info. i have 2 different DIY that i got on another forum that will help more with pictures.

i did my own install into an 02 a4 it really is straight forward. its tight behind the radio for all the new adapters so i took the glove box out, to pull the cables back while pushing the radio in, while i had the glovebox out i stuck the gps to the top and it works fine.

id love to post the one i used but its not from this forum and i didn't do the DIY myself so i don't really want to be taking credit for it here and don't want to post their link so people go there and register. im sure its against so sort of forum rule.
