Enabling day time running light for 08 A4
Hey gents,
I'm new to the forum, I just bought a 08 A4 s-line, I get in a few weeks but I am in Canada and i need to enable the DTR lights, can i do this myself or do i need to go to Audi and get them to do it? It costs around $400 so any help would be much appreciated,

get a vag-com cable and do it yourself. Plus having it will be handy if you ever get a CEL or any other issues you can find out the problems yourself + you can find one cheaper then $400.

Getting a cable isnt a bad idea but as an alternative, hook up with someone who already owns a cable and have him do it for you. Typical cost ... a beer or coffee !

i just bought a Q7 in the US and also need to turn drl any suggestion? the book says that thru then mmi it could be set by programming but it applies only with led lights not the halogen like mine any help would be appreciate

This may be a dumb question, but you need to ''enable'' the dtr lights function with a cable so that they can function? Isn't this already enabled?
