Well i think im going to get a personalized plate this year... i have a few ideas on what i want... something audi related. was thinking "HORCH" or something like that.

Little background on the name for those that don't know its the latin translation for Audi.

anyone else have or thinking of getting a personalized plate done and if so what are you getting/have?

August Horch actually founded Audi, but he couldn't use his name anymore because he had sold it. So, one day his nephew, who at the time was studying latin, suggested he use Audi since it meant the same as Horch which means "LISTEN". Long story short, a bunch of companies joint forces; Wanderer, NSU, Audi and DKW and they called it Auto Union, which later became Audi.
Most likely the name Horch is already taken, but there are quite a few others that can relate to Audi.

thanks for the extra info! i forgot most of that from the book that i got with my car... have to find it again and read it. i have the license plate search for ontario. HORCH is taken but i might do that with a # or letter after it.

" HORCH 4 " has been ordered as of today... should be 1-2 weeks i guess before it comes in. the "4" is for the 4 rings as just HORCH was already taken.
