Default Audi A4 B7 BVO

Has anyone tried putting a blow off valve on their A4 ? to get that distinct turbo sound. If anyone has any knowledge about this what company should i go with ?

General recommendation is not to do this since the factory Audi turbo uses a closed loop system for boost control and mixture regulation. BOV means the ECU/MAF may get confused.

On the other hand there are posts on other forums (Audi & VW) of folks that have done this. Will leave it to one of them to provide you with specifics of how they did things.

So RICE. Our B7s have a pretty decent air intake, most people don't touch it. But if you wanted that sound and some performace gain, the BOV i think you lose, get an aftermarket air intake like carbonio. Or an aftermarket air filter. I got a K&N drop in filter and it sounds a little meaner. That BOV will make your car sound really really bad. Just my 2 cents!

^^ the Carbonio intake from APR will provide you with the sound your looking for. You tube that for better sound clips.
