Default A4 Question. quattro v. fwd

hello all,

I am wondering if trading quattro for a manuel transmission is worth it. I have been looking alot and find that I cannot find a 06 a4 in my price range that has quattro and manual with reasonable kms.

That said, I can find low km, good price and manual.

or so so km, good price and quattro...

Thoughts please.

In my opinion, manual an quattro are must haves. If you can't find an 06 in your budget, get an 05.

Then go for a slightly higher mileage car. Believe me, if you pass on the manual or quattro you will regret it.

get what you want even with slightly higher mileage.

you don't want to be driving a fwd with manual and still keep thinking about a awd with manual.

awd isnt that great in my opinion. IF you have well spirited driving, you will notice awd when you exit the apex. If you just drive regularly then awd isnt an issue, winter tires and you are good to go. People just like to have awd for confidence. besides with audi most of the power goes to front wheels anyway. I say get manual. Auto is just a waste of a car in my opinion.

Get a US model, it will probably be in your budget then. You can get some really low km ones with no rock chips for a few thousand less than a Canadian equivilant.
