00768 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
 

Hi I just scan my Audi A4 2007 with Ross tech tool
Looks that i have missfire on cilinder #3. i ready change Ignation coil and spark plug and after scaning its same error.
I try to cvange PCV valve and is same again.
Here is scan log of roos tech tool ; Any idea what can be wrong ?

I had the same thing on my wife's 2007 A4. She did not recall any misfiring. I cleared the codes and checking a month later the same thing showed up.
It seems that only the ECU can detect this momentary issue.
I am waiting to actually detect a misfire before starting to be concerned.

I check spark plug and looks black and wet ( not working ) but when pull out and i connect ignition coils and spark plugs outside of engine and check visually. Looks that all spark plugs works . I think that is something wrong with fuel injector . ( maybe its spraying too much or is open all time ) .
Any idea ?

Was getting intermittent misfires under load with my 2008 2.0T; swapped coilpacks around but problem still occurred on the same cylinder. Decided to try some STP fuel injector cleaner per some other threads I had seen on various Audi forums. Seems to have resolved my misfire problem so maybe just that one injector was slightly clogged - would be worth trying on your car - cost was about $10 for one bottle.
