I have just bought an automatic 2006 Audi A4 3.2 litre and the gas mileage sucks. I fill the tank with premium and I am averaging 17L/100km (Roughly 340km per gas tank), all city driving. Is this normal? What kind of mileage are you getting?

A stop to the garage yielded no faults or codes from the computer. What do you think?
Or is 350km per tank normal for this car.

I drive a '06 3.2L, I get usually 14L/100k city and 8L/100k highway (country not city highways)...

It really depends on your driving style, I get usually 450-550km per tank (combined gta 400 highways, and city), thinking of switching to an avant, so I may have to downgrade to a 2.0T , but I'll mod it then..


so anyway, if you're driving it like you stole it, then your mileage will suck, he has plenty of power to pass, overtake, but mileage can get out of hand if you're always flooring it

 

same here, city driving : the millage really sucks about 15 l/1oo km, but highway, driving it easy, i average 7 l/100. it really depends on if u floor it or not, but city only driving will kill your wallet !

 

Are you sure its not 350 miles? cuz thats normal.. 350km thats way too little
