Does anyone know of a shop in Toronto that can do the timing belt service other than the dealer? or does everyone bite the price from the dealer.Any help would be appreciated as it's due in 5000k.

I heard some people mention Independent Tuning in scarborough. They specialize in Audi's.
I've never brought my car there yet, so maybe let a few other people respond with their thoughts. but I heard good things... and better price than the dealer

 

For sure try Independent Tuning. They really know their stuff and great to deal with. Usually a better price than dealer with the same if not better quality.

 

Remember to ask what kind of parts they use -Audi or other - so you know what you have.

Just got my clutch and motor mounts done there.

 

I found independent tuning a bit expensive!! They do a good job though and the service is good.

 

I was NOT pleased with Independent Tuning.
I left my car there for a Heater Core Flush and Mark called me and told me my water pump was leaking badly.
Wasnt leaking at all prior to me taking it there

He said he would do the water pump for me for 95 plus 385 labour plus I should do the timing belt well he is at it for another $$$$

All I wanted was a heater core flush!
My car was fine before I went there and NOT fine after I left.

I am very disappointed in this place

I do not recommend them for the reasons above
