Question Suspension question

I have been thinking of dropping my 07 a4 qtro. Now I'm really confused. What is the diffrence between a spring/shock setup and a coilovers setup? Which is better. Keeping in mind I dont have Audis sport suspension.

I've also heard that on a quattro there's a certain limiy you can drop. Is this true? If so how low?

Default Re: Suspension question

Coilovers are height adjustible (and some also offer adjustments for damping). Also coils have proper matched springs and shocks whereas you could end up with a terrible ride if you dont have proper matched combo.

Best to do some more research ...
