S4 Mirror Caps
So I bought a set of no name mirror caps before the winter and put them on my car. I barely drove the car all winter and I've been inspecting their condition. It looks as if the cap surface was bubbling up. I took them off my car and thought I should just sand them down and see if I can repaint them. As I'm sanding them down I discover that these caps are not painted but rather covered with a metallic film. Underneather they are just white plastic. Has anyone else had this problem during the winter? If not what manufacturer are yours?
Anyone got anything for sale? |
Re: S4 Mirror Caps
Damn thats really random, I was looking around for a set of mirror caps for my car but it looks like i'll have to be a little more careful if I even find any. I may just replace the mirrors.

Make sure that they're not that Chinese crap on Ebay. I've heard good things about Inpro and Hagus.
