rear door will not open from inside
Hi, The passenger rear door will not open from inside. I followed the tips from the owner manual to change the position of the lock on the inside of the door panel near the edge of the door. I tried all combinations between the child safety lock switch and the manual lock on the edge of the door panel to no success. Any other tips. When I pull the inside door handle, I feel no resistance in the linkage like the other doors. Thanks.
Zero resistance likely means the linkage lever has slipped out of place or tha latch point has broken. You;ll need to remove the doort panel to find out. When levering the clips for the door panel go slowly as they are soft plastic, often stick and tend to break easily. Look for a screw tab around the door handle area and remove that first, then start from the bottom of the door panel and work upwards from there.
There are descriptions around of front panel removal and the rear shouldn't be too much different.
Good luck...

You probably know this, but just to make sure - the rear door handle needs to be pulled twice for it to open. The first time to unlock and the second to open. If you're only pulling it once in your tests maybe that could be it?
