Default LUK dual mass or go single mass flywheel?

I'm due for a clutch change soon. Ever since I put the HFC on, it slips a bit if I floor it on the highway. So it seems the recommendation is to change the flywheel while I'm at it. But the OEM is $1k.... That's crazy.

So, do I change the flywheel? Go dual mass or singlemass?

Has any one heard much about the LUK dual mass flywheel? I been googling it but I don't think many people have tried or needed to try it yet.

The price is certainly right at $550. ECS Tuning also advertise the OEM for $750 which is cheaper than the dealership but factor shipping and it'll probably come in close.

i have a single mass from clutch south bend and i have vibration between 2000 rpm and 3000rpm mostly from 2nd to 4th gear, so if your not modded go dual mass.

My indy tech says that the dual mass is the only way to go. I drove a 1.8T at a used dealer that just replaced the clutch and he must have put in a single mass. Clutch was grabby as hell and thumped when it shifted. Not even close to the smoothness of my stock B7.
