A lot of resistance

Hey guys looking to get lots of input on this one,
So i have owned my 2007 A4 for just over a year and every in the car and my self included would notice that as soon as i let off the gas it slows down quite a bit, I kinda just said what ever and I am used to it now, But today I drove my dads avalanche and it could roll forever with minimal slow down almost like it was on cruise control.
I also had experience driving a new BMW X3 and noticed a similar problem to my car except it was charging the battery that was the cause for the quick decrease in speed.
Are your A4's the same? Or should i get mine checked out more thoroughly (I explained to the mechanic and he said cant compare an Audi to a Chevrolet)

Brandon,

What gear was it in?,(drive etc) does it do the slow down if you shift into neutral? I have an '08 with 6 spd and it rolls forever in neutral. I'll assume proper tire pressure?

Re: A lot of resistance

Il try it in neutral, i know it glides more but i'm not sure if I get the same instant slow down.
The problem is in drive going 80km or 100km as soon as I let off the gas you can feel the deceleration, I know some is expected but compared to other cars it was a bit much
