HELP!!! B7 3.2 loss of throttle mid drive

Hey all, I Just got home from work, had some issues leaving though.

I drove from the back of our parking lot to the driveway leading to woodbine ave (had to turn left (south) as I recieved a large gap in traffic (enough for 3 lanes) I hit the gas , to my surprise, I had none!? so I thought maybe I mishit the gas, I smacked it to the floor, and nothing. Dropped into sport mode, and nothing, back to drive and nothing again.

car rolled as if you were just sitting in drive but a little slower - just rolling out. The engine MIL went on, flashing but the EPC light was on constantly. I got into the middle lane and put the car in park, restarted, and still got the MIL light flashing, but the throttle was back so I go into the ESSO just down the street. got out and listened to the car, idle sounded fine, but as you touched the gas it seemed off, the exhaust just didn't sound right, but hear the front of the car, like a rattle almost. restarted a few times to still get the MIL flashing

I turned it off, got a bit of gas, waited 15 min and checked the oil, all was fine. started up again and it was fine. got home and called my mechanic, he wont be in until monday. Not sure what to do here? any ideas for what it may be?

the specs are;

06 b7 a4 3.2

new transmission last summer (audi warranty) so it's still covered (tranny wasn't actually the problem - can't remember what was overfilled by audi, but it caused splatter on the tranny)
never had any other issues, I need to replace my brake light switch but that's it

any help is greatly appreciated!

too bad no one had any recommendations, but the issue should be fixed now.

Today I went for the brake light switch to be replaced, got my oil, filter and daylight bulb that just burnt out changed.

as I went to leave, my mechanic went to start my car, and it was dead....battery completed ****ed.

boosted it and let it run for a few, turned off, and tried to restart - DEAD full out..... so I proceeded to drive it home hoping to charge it up, car shut off the stereo, my heat, my headlights went off and on a couple times, turned around and I had to get a new battery....

got myself a high capacity one, just what my mechanic had, $214 :\ my oil and that didn't cost anything which was nice since I supplied my own stuff :)
