have any one of you went to fast tuning in Vaughan for chipping?, I heard from the Audi dealer in Newmarket Ontario that Fast Tuning is an authorized tuning shop for Audi and chipping the car will not void the warranty if the work done by Fast tuning, can any one verify that?,

Plus I have one more question though I am new to the Audi and the modifications which can be done to the car. Is chipping the car worth it? Do you really feel the difference? It will cost around 1000 $ to do the work and I just wonna make sure that it’s really worth the money, thanks for any help

 

$1000 seems too much for just the chip. if you do decide to follow this route, make sure you get the manager's written declaration that it does not void your warranty.

pfaff audi is another audi dealer in the northern gta you can consider for chipping without risk of voiding your warranty.

edit: i didn't go the pfaff audi route, so don't quote me on this.

I thought pfaff tuning, pfaff audi newmarket and pfaff audi vaughn and porsche woodbridge are all under the same ownership....

I had my 07 GTI done at Pfaff with GIAC tuning, I paid 8 or 900, was well worth it and have had no problems since done 40k ago

I recently did my TT as it is now out of warranty. This time APR. I got the stock, 91 and 93 program. I would also recommend APR. Got that done in Georgetown before Xmas for less than 600 for all three programs which is adjusted on the cruise arm, very nice.

 

did you keep the warranty even after the car was chipped?

 

My TT has the extended warranty, now at 82K warranty to 120k
The reason I waited to do this car was I wanted to see how the GTI handled the re flash. All was well so I decided to do the TT
Both cars run great, I drive the s$%t out of both of them. I do notice they both now drink oil like it is going out of style. Anyway, I think that is from my abuse not the flash as my previous G35 drank the brown pop as well.

Anyway with a turbo I must say the re flash is well worth the cash. I love the turbo, is your car an RS4?

Im Personaly Running APR Chip, Have had no problems, Will shortly upgrade to KO4 Program since im doing a Ko4 Turbo Kit From Kinetic.
Revo apperently has a Audi Chip Now for A4 1.8T ...

 

yup the original one is on younge st. in newmarket just below davis drive. They've only opened the Vaughan one a couple of years ago...
