anyone heard of CerTek or Galaxy brake pads?...they're both ceramic

i was wondering if anyone has any feedback on these brands, it would be greatly appreciated

Not sure. Only used hawks pro. Great for the price and low dust

To be honest my last car I found it was less brake dust and th same stopping power.

Rotors I have no personal experience. Always had factory ones installed.

i'm just browsing around different sites and i'm finding that rotors are actually more expensive than the pads

Just stick with plain OEM rotors like Zimmerman and skip the drilled, nonsense and get either akebono euro ceramic pads which i have or HAwks hps ceramic.
Stopping power wil increase and you will drastically reduce brake dust!

Anyone here know a shop can replace front brake pads at a reasonal price other than $500 charge by the dealer??

Hawk Performance Ceramic makes some good pads. I just replaced on my Mom's BMW 323. Compared to stock, less dust and no squeal. The Tire Rack made the recommendation.
