Battery draining when trunk open
My battery is being drained when the trunk of
my 2007 A4 cabriolet is open for even a short time. After as little as half an hour, the battery won’t be able to start the car. There is no power drain at any other time - just when the trunk lid is up for an extended period. I have disconnected the trunk light but that doesn’t make any difference. It’s worth noting that the actuator to open the trunk is not working. I’m not sure if the two issues started at the same time so they may or may not be connected. Any thoughts?
