Just to make sure everyone knows. Our cars (body panels) are made of galvanized steel sheet metal. The ONLY Audi made of aluminum (currently) that I know of is the A8. The reason they use galvanized is for corrosion resistance.
And ya Aluminum IS a metal.

The only problem with their galvanized sheet metal is that if you ever crash your car....or someone keys it, and some body shop is asked to repair and repaint it...it
a) voids your warranty for rust
b) they sometimes sand a bit too far and remove the anti-rust layer...or so I've been told...
