Audi A4 2.0T quattro 2006 issues and questionable reliability
 

Hi everyone, i am currently thinking of buying a used 2006 A4 2.0T quattro and from everywhere that i have read, it seems like people are jsut having bad issues with this car:???:. At edmunds and Msn autos i spent time reading user reviews and i think that my 2004 A4 is more reliable than this one:). But i want to know what do you think about that and can any experts give me an idea on any other alternative.

I've had absolutely no problems with mine. I'm up to 25,000kms now.

Thanks Malby for your time, damn you are one lucky man:), because i have seen more bad reviews about this car than any good ones, man you must have been one of those exempted ones lollll.

I have heard there are some fuel pump problems not being able to deliver properly with the FSI system which have been taken care of in newer models. What type of problems are you reading about? Can anyone elaborate on this?

is there a recall out for these fuel pump issues? I can't imagine Audi leaving these thing to their customers to take care of...

I am up to 45,000 MILES and have no current issues. Car is awesome.
Things like fuel pump, etc. are under warranty ..... no worries.

for an '06 you shouldnt worry at all the car is still under warranty and I belive that there was a recall on some of the cars for that fuel pump the rest is just maintenence! Being one of the first b7 versions of that model to make it out of course there is going to be some issues, but audi has been good about big issues like that it just makes it an incoveniance of taking it for repair thats about it!
