2006 A4 2.0 Liter Engine hesitation

Hey Guys
06 avant with the 2.0 liter engine
I am experiencing a slight hesitation from a start
Has anyone else had or having this problem
Once I get past the slight lull it is extremely smooth
I have been to the dealer and he is giving me the same bullshit
No engine codes, everything is within specs. yada yada
So I would appreciate any feedback
cheers

your dealer didn't bs you. you have a turbo engine, the hesitation is normal especially for an automatic car. It's call turbo lag. Audi's ko3 turbo is actually not bad with lag, just need to get use to it like i have :)

Thanks for the post
I surely didn't expect it to be turbo lag
I am not stepping on it
Just a normal slow acceleration when I leave a light or stop sign
cheers

turbo lag is really common. I dont expirience any but my BOV is not into atmosphere. If yours is into atmosphere then that might be a problem. I personally dont expirience any at all that. But as soon as i throw on into atmosphere BOV, then you will start to notice it even more.

the ko3 turbo is really good for fast spool up. We experience the lag because we are automatic. I've drove the manual too and the lag is not noticeable like you said.
