2006 a4 1.8 convertible question

hello all.
Today I test drove a 2006 a4 convertible. 1.8. 96000 miles. The dealer wants 7500 for it.
It seemed to be well enough cared for. The interior was clean and the exterior only seemed to have some usual road rash/curb rash. Nothing that can't be taken care of.
The brakes seemed to be a little squishy and I feel like the ac could have been better. It did not make any weird rattles or shakes. It drove straight and seemed to have decent power.
I have never Owned an Audi and i am not sure of what I should be looking at. Or for.
Are there specific questions I need to ask? Is there something I need to make sure has been done?
Maybe most importantly, is he in the right ballpark?
I see that KBB puts it around 5000 for a trade in.
What do you guys think?

Thank you so much in advance for your time.

Brian
