08 A4 revving

I got a 2008 Audi A4 2.0T and when I'm driving at a constant speed lower than 60Km/h, my engine begins to rev up then down constantly maybe 300RPM's. Example, I was going 50Km/h and my tachometer needle moves back and forth about 300RPM. Anyone know whats thats about???

So I'm guessing this isn't normal. It's still under warrenty. What should I tell them is the problem? Sending unit to transmission isn't working properly?

I've noticed this on mine when it's really cold, after 1-2 min of letting it warm up while i scrape the windows it's usually gone.

If it's something that's happening regularly I'd get it looked at like petzl already mentioned.

I wouldnt give them any more ideas on what is causing the problem, just tell them what you are noticing - since its under warranty, its their job to do the problem solving!

Good luck!
