06 Avant Sport suspension questions
 

I'm looking for an '06 Avant, and would like to have the sport option. Can anyone tell me what the suspension differences are between that and without the option? What parts are different, and how much would it cost to convert a non-sport to sport? Also, is it my imagination, or is the sport model have a bit louder induction, or exhaust noise?

In 2006 you could get sports suspension as a stand alone option for $325 and 17" for $250.
There is no difference in the way the exhaust sounds, the car is identical. The other package available at that time was the S-line sports pkg for $4,000 which included sports suspension, s-line front and rear bumpers, s-line badges. 18" wheels and again, the same exhaust.

hey when u said the sports sports suspension do you need that to put 18" tires on? cause i just want to know how much lower it will go compared to the stock suspension.

Sports pkg is 20mm lower than stock suspension. You can put 18s since Audi offered it in the s-line pkg and I had them in my '08 A4.

so since my suspension is not the sports version is it worth it to buy the sline suspension or should i get another brand suspension like H&R or ebiach?

For what its worth, my last car was a 2004 A4 Avant. I had the sports suspension and upgraded it to an aftermarket suspension to improve the look, ride and handling.

Thanks. that is something I have heard conflicting info on from various dealers.
