06 2.0t fsi issues after tuning

Hey Guys

I just had my car chipped with Revo stage 2 on Wed. I have a test pipe in as well. After the tune, everything was great, but then friday night while opening it up on the hiway on ramp, my throttle stuck open. I hit the clutch and brake and it stayed open for about 2 secs, then finally closed. After that, no more issues. I figured it may have been because I was feathering it a bit and it was cold. Sat everything was fine, but then again on Sunday, on the same stretch of Hiway, I put it in 6th, and changed lanes, then I lost all power. I hit the gas and nothing, I down shifted to 5th and put the pedal to the mat, nothing. After about another 2 secs, BOOM! full power. Again the car was cold.

Could this be an issue with the software? Or could it be a combination of the cold and the software? This morning I really babied it until it reached op temp, and it seemed fine. I'm going to call the shop today as well, and see what they say.

Thanks in advance!

Mike

I am wondering if your fuel pump may be failing... Or possibly a clogged fuel filter.

I could see that with the loss of power (it stuttered once or twice in 5th before as well), but what woudl explain the throttle sticking open?

Maybe the cold caused the trottle body to stick open the one day and closed the next? It was fine this morning. Not extreme cold though.

Right.... Good point. Maybe it would be a good idea to remove and clean your throttle body, then do a throttle body adaptation with Vag Com.
