Re: Wiper Blade replacement
I got it to fit..it's not the best but it works...I just hope it doesn't fly off..it seems to be ok....just slide it on the wiper arm..I've had it on for a week now & it hasn't slid off...the only time it might be a problem is when u need to raise the wiper arm.

Re: Wiper Blade replacement
I bought Rain-X latitude in the States, put it right away, it didn't fit properly, I had to jam in 1" of plastic straw to hold it. But it was too much bent (the blade) and it never worked well. So, I went back to Bosh. So far so good, but I think my next pair will be OEM.

Re: Wiper Blade replacement
An update:
I had the Latitude fitting issue until I realized that the Latitude comes with larger hook adapter (marked as B on the leaflet). So you just pop the small hook adapter out, put the new one in, the one that has 3 cylindrical slots (I put on the middle one).

Re: Wiper Blade replacement
Whoever said yo need to get wipers from Audi is an idiot. On older models at least, thats pretty universal. And armor all fit just fine, some have a tab that you have to pop up and then insert the blades then close it and such.

Re: Wiper Blade replacement
Go one even better!
Go to Princess Auto, wiper blade rack.
They have exactly the same blade as OEM Audi for $10 each.
Heres the trick.
Pry off the plastic mounting clamp on the Princess Auto blade, and discard.
Pry open the your old Audi aluminum blade mounting clamp and remove the old blade.
Squeeze the old Audi aluminum clamp onto the new blades (not too tightly) and voila, new OEM blades!
As a further preventive treatment, don't forget to add a touch of oil to the OEM end-of-arm trapizoid swivel. They have a habit of seizing and thus restricting blade alignment and free contact.

Re: Wiper Blade replacement
Princess auto is all very generic and cheap stuff. So dont hope it will last you for too long, it won't. I picked up a set of arm and hammer once from crappy tire and they are actually pretty good! Nice clean wipe!

Re: Wiper Blade replacement
I upgraded mine with larger silicon PIAA ones that fit directly since i reused just the plastic clip from the stock wiper arms. I was able to fit a 22 or 23" on the pax side and a 26" on the driver side. It covers practically my entire windsheild and works awesome! No mods needed to make it fit and took all of 5 min. to swap

Yep, Princess Auto do sell a lot of generic, cheap stuff.
But maybe you did not read my post correctly?
I said the blades were exactly the same as Audi OEM!
