Whistling Noise From Transmission A4 1.8T 04
So heres my problem, a few days ago I was making a trip up to Ottawa when my oil light back on so I pulled over to the nearest rest stop. Popped my hood and saw oil all over my engine (dipstick shaft broke) and put 3L of oil. I started it back up and then my #1 cylinder stopped firing which was from the injector. I had it towed back to london and got the guys at TopGear Imports to fix it up. As I was driving it back home a whistling noise was coming from the engine bay and took it back. They had a look at it and you'd a stethoscope to find the problem coming from the transmission. They think it's the flywheel or a bearing. I've noticed when its in gear and I have my foot on the gas it goes away but when I release the gas in gear it comes back. It does this in any gear even in neutral but in neutral with my foot on the gas its always there. I took a video of what it sounds like. I'm curious if anyone has had this problem before or has an idea of what it could be? Thanks
