My Audi's warning beeps stopped working. For instance, when I leave the lights on after turning the key off. The fuses all checked out ok. I suspect something simple, like the wires to whatever speaker emits that sound may have come loose, but I don't know where that speaker is located. Or, it may be more complicated; I don't know. Can anyone help diagnose, or direct me to the source of those beeps?

I checked the forum, but maybe I'm not using the right nomenclature for "warning beep?" So, even if you just can tell me what the right search term might be, you can be a big help.

Same thing happened to me a couple months ago. I'm not too worried about it except that I have left the lights on all day. Thankfully it still started. But I'll keep checking back here to see if anyone has an answer.

Did a little research and found that that speaker might be behind the instrument cluster. So I found some videos showing how to get in there (click and ). The best update I have though is that the correct search term is "warning chime."
