Transmission issues after Revo
Hello Audi fans
I have installed a REVO stage 1 remapping on my 2004 A4 1.8t Quattro Avant 6 spd. For some reason the same day I started having issues shifting through the gears. Up shifting is very knotchy even with the clutch pedal fully pressed and the higher the revs the worst it is. For it to be smoother I have to shift below 3000 rpm.
Down shifting is worst, cannot drop two gears if I want to, it will not engage. I have to go gear by gear and bump up the revs to match with engine speed when clutch is pressed. I cannot just clutch and drop a gear , it will not engage until I bump up the revs. I checked the fluid level and it's good. I would like your thoughts. Change the clutch and tranny fluid? Clutch change? Syncros? Why aft the Revo remapping, before is was pretty smooth.
I have seen a few problems about this and sometimes a clutch change did the trick. Am I due for one as well with 130000km?

Re: Transmission issues after Revo
i wouldnt say you are necessarily due for one... changing the hydraulic clutch fluid might be a good idea to try, if it has never been done.
i am sure it has nothing to do with the tune.
perhaps syncros, perhaps clutch master/slave cylinder?
