Re: Switching a automatic transmission to a 6 speed manual
Some folks use a parts car because it will be cheaper than buying all new parts that are needed. It will be a lot of work.
Not to split hairs but #9 should include a Clutch Slave Cylinder

Your "sanked" costs are far less than the cost of doing this work and the parts that go with it... and ultimately you will end-up with a vehicle which has been heavily altered...
In my (humble) opinion: selling the car that you have and buying the one that you want, will be way cheaper, more rewarding and less stressful!
LESSONS LEARNED: don't do as I say... 'cause I too am doing it the hard way every time!

lol everyone that bought the cars they love in automatic hatethemselves later! all my friends who got the car they wanted (mostly 91-92 integra) restore it and havilly mod it then hate it for being auto!
Anyways, switching to auto is way too expensive, you have to rebuild alot of parts and in the end isnt worth it.
