Seafoam
OK. I've been looking into seafoaming my 2005 3.0l b6. I want to know what the Audi guru's think and what is the correst way to use it. Also what else needs to be done after the trreatment, oil change, spark plug change...etc.
I'm really looking to the senior members, audi techs on this and any pros and cons they may have. but any input is good!

Re: Seafoam
seafoam is great to clean out your fuel tank + filter. Reason being is because its highly concentrated propane liquid that eats away dirt in your tank and filter making fuel flow better to your engine.
also good to do before you change your engine oil is put a can full of seafoam to eat away dirt/sludge, w/e thats in there and helps clear out gunk in there. But do this only once every 2-3 years.
You can also put seafoam in the intake manifold as well to clean up some oil etc etc.
what mileage u got on your car? what has been done in the past ? it all depends on how long u had the car for and what is she running at to determine what type of maintenance she needs.

Re: Seafoam
will the spark plugs and timing belt make it through the procedure?
i took it to the stealer to have it serviced ( spark plugs filters everything but the timing belt)
she runs perrty good but i think that seafoam would make it run like new.
p.s. check out the thread it andswered alot of question. (noob mistake should have search frist)
