Default RS4 sway bar....DO IT

So i did this last night...took about 45 to do. Huge help when you have someone who can hold the exhaust out of the way. this makes a world of difference....it makes the stance that much tighter.

Never relized how much i need new rims and tires...all you hear is tires squeling now!

Yes it is a great improvement if you dont have the sport suspension it is a world of difference next up you should lower it or get better springs and shocks

did you just do the rear...I was planning on getting h-sport sways for the front and rear .. would this be even better or a waste?

Rear reduces understeer. The front provides much better turn in and flatter cornering but does add back some understeer.

Had the h-sports (front and rear) on my B6 A4 ... much improved handling at speed.

i find our cars understeer a lot.. in my mind, if i do the rear and fronts then the understeer will still be there

so thus just rears for me

I installed some H-Sports a week ago and love them. No complaints.

Many agree and Stasis recommends just the rear bar. That said, the following info reflects that both the RS4 and S4 sets provide add'l stiffness in the rear thereby reducing understeer.

RS4 H-sports
35mmF and 29mm rear
Front 60% stiffer/ Rear +235%, and +305% stiffer than OEM
90% stiffer than S4 H-sport rear

S4 H-Sports
35mm front and 24mm rear
Front 60% stiffer/ Rear +145% & 215% stiffer than pre-2007 OEM (2007+ come with RS4 rear)
30% stiffer than A4 H-sport rear

A4 H-sports
35 mm front and 22 mm rear
Front: +60% stiffer/ Rear: +120% & +150% stiffer than OEM
