There are better deals out there, I would say pass. Cloth seats??? Thats a downgrade from the standard leathers. Water pump & timing belt will cost you another $1000-$1500 for a 2002 the $9000 is a little high IMO

jus wondering where are you from? ive checked all of ontario and for some reason this is the best deal i could find. i know in the states its much cheaper but i dont want to go through the hassle of bringing it over.im thinking of holding off on this deal and still looking around though.ive still got 2 months to buy a car

Sport package should come with 17" 5 spoke wheels, not 16". The cloth seats would make me pass, I have never even seen one of these cars with them. I thought it was leatherette or leather that were the options.

But $9000 is crazy cheap, I am suprised. I bought my 03 1.8T last april for $1,300 but it was sport, premium, winter packages. I did get the maintenance papers from the dealer so I knew about it having the timeing belt, water pump, etc changed. That should be a big issue because right around 124k they need to be done. Mine was bought with 123k

So if you bought the car it should be done right away. Timing belt is like a ticking time bomb and will cause worse damage to the car if you wait till it goes.

Maybe hence the reason for the low price.

$9,000 is pretty good for Ontario as i just bought a 04 1.8T for $10,800 and it only has 110,000 on it. it only took 6 months to find my car so I did my research and cloth seats means its from the USA. Cloth was not avalaibale in Canada so do your research on the car before buying.

But i would have to agree with everyone else you should pass on it just my 2 cents

Cheers,

so i checked out the car and everything seems to be in great order.the reason why it doesnt have leather is because the lady that bought the car for some reason didnt like leather.lol it was maintained at dealership until 60 000km.now the only concern i have is the driver exhaust seems to shake a bit when revving and a weird noise comin out of the exhaust.i dont know if its just loose or something is really long with it.im going to take it to my mechanic to see the underneath of the car. is there anythin else i should check out?
