Default Is it possible to add "coming home" feature via VAG Com

I think this feature is amazing...I've searched around but the closest I could find is a retrofit...

I don't want the option of turning on/off

I just want it to be always on...
any hope of getting it to be on via VAG com?

Thanks,
Myron

I doubt it, if you have xenons, and the auto dimming mirror then this feature should be available as it requires a light sensor to be installed in order to work properly.

You can try this but no garantees that it will work as I have not tried it on a car that does not have the feature, if your car VIN# has an 8E in it do this:

1) Go to the Central Conveniance Module
2) Adaptation
3) Read Channel 001
4) Insert value "30" if it is at 0 without quotes, this will Enable the lights to be on for 30 seconds after the car is shut off. Min value = 0 Max value=60
5) Test it and then save.

If the channel is not there I highly doubt that you will be able to do anything.

That's really useful info 1move. Do you have any other tricks like that in VAGCOM for the B6? (other than what's on the Ross Tech wiki)

I'd really like to have my fog lights on as running lights WITHOUT all the corner markers and interior lighting on. When I change it to Canadian mode (central elec, recode) that's what happens. USA mode turns off all the lighting (which is good) but also doesn't have any front running lights.

I've seen a variation of this somewhere on the VAG wikipedia one.

The only thing I can't do and would love to is to turn the damn DRL's off when I'm in Park. I idle a lot!!

Pull the E-brake before you start the car if the car is Automatic.

Hmm - doesn't work for me sadly. My ebrake is always on at park - but my DRL's are always on if my car is on =(
