Need help fog light/parking light warning always on
 

Hi,

My wife just bought a 2005 Audi A4 Avant. There is one thing we are not sure about the car. Whatever the lighting option we choose (high beam, fog lights only, not lights, etc) the warning sign for fog lights stays on (referred by Audi as parking lights). Is that normal? I know we have the DRL option in Canada but does this mean we have to keep seing this warning all the time. Also the car is from Canada and used here in Canada.

I've found a picture on this forum and added an arrow, just to make sure you see what warning sign I mean. Also unlike the picture, all the other warning are off when we are on the road.

Yeah its the DRL light and stays on all the time nothing will disable it unless you disable DRL's
