Default HWY driving

Hey guys..question about crusin on the hwy..is it ok to drive 100kph in 6th gear or should it be in 5th? I'm worried that I might be driving with the rpm too low. This is with the 3.0 & @ 100 it's just under 2400rpm it's that 100-120kph range that I'm confuised on which gear I should be driving in.

that is no problem

i do 60 kph in 6th gear sometimes...

if ur coasting, and ur rpm is low, u will get better gas mileage...
also put less stress on the engine, and other parts...

so yea... by all means, coast, u dont HAVE to redline every gear.

I sometime wonder if too low rpm is bad for the engine...I just don't know about 60kph in 6th though...lol..that I think is too much

The higher the RPM's the fuel you burn and load you put on the driveline, lower RPM'S equal less wear and fuel burn, the car idles around 1200- 1500 so it cant hurt it.

Drive in such a way that you never have to step on the accelerator and feel the engine knocking while struggling!
If the road is flat and the engine purrs along, you are in the right gear!
