Help me stop the incessant beeping!
I have a 2002 A4 quattro, and I am pretty sure I have electrical problems. Recently, I took my car into the shop and they noticed that my license plate lights were burnt out. They stripped the screws trying to replace them (awesome), and ever since then I am getting constant beeping telling me to replace my license plate light.
I am constantly replacing bulbs on this vehicle, and I just want to stop the constant beeping telling me something is wrong. No word of a lie, my car BEEPS at least once EVERY MILE!
Is there any way I can easily cut a wire of disconnect something to make this problem go away (other than replacing the light)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Not that I'm aware of; you can do it for the foglights with VCDS but that's about it. Best thing is to open up your rear tailight assembly and check all the contacts for the bulbs; likely there is some corrosion that is leading to intermittent connections.
