Talking Heater controls

A long time ago their was list of interesting "tricks" to adjusting things within the Audi. One of them was to sync the heater control (driver's side controls all) - could someone direct me to that part of the forum - as well give me the instructions. Thanks!

I'm a bit confused but are you trying to make it so both the driver side and passenger side temps go up and down in sync? Basically making it single climate vs dual?

if so, hold down the auto button on the driver side climate, for about 5 seconds and it should sync them.

Hi,
its not only the auto button. I think you have to hold auto and the econ button. should sync within 5 seconds.

Cheers,

Doesn't it work the other way to, if you press and hold the passenger side Auto button it sets both temperatures to the same as the passenger side was set. I may be wrong, but am too lazy to go outside to check.

I'm going to try that. BTW, how do you un-synch it. Same method?

as soon as someone uses the passenger side climate it unsyncs and becomes dual zone.
