Having puddle in back seat troubles.

Re: Having puddle in back seat troubles.
Check the area under the battery by the firewall and see if that is blocked (many reported cases of leaves blocking the drain hole). The vent for interior intake air is close to that area; if there's a blockage, maybe it's overflowing back into the interior air intake.

Re: Having puddle in back seat troubles.
Look in the compartment where battery is. There are plastic parts that cover the fan intake.
If you remove the first plastic part (the one on 3 screws) you will see one part that collects rain. It has to be well alligned. Check the allignement of it, so it can collect water again.
If it was your AC, you would have water on the passenger side and rear. This is a typical Audi A6 problem but rare in A4.

Hey Adam,
So where the white filter is there should be s proper drainage system? When I looked at the filter on the left hand side at the top I do not recall seeing any sort drainage but down that filter.... I will get so I will get pictures and if you would not mind pointing out to me where I should be looking it would be great!

Re: Having puddle in back seat troubles.
You will see an adjustable gutter that is parallel to the bottom of the windshield. When they change the filter they often misalign this gutter.
The gutter has a spout and the spout must be away from the filter.
I wonder are you missing the gutter part? In this case you will have flood all over.

Hey,
There was no sunroof done to it lately. I also got the car late August. It was owned by another owner for not even 30 days from the date that he got it from the Audi dealership. I have an appointment set up for Friday morning but would love to cancel it if I can figure out the issue on my own witch I know I can with your guys help. If we cant get it fixed no big deal. I assume that the Audi dealership should have all of the vehicle's information. Problems ect...
I Also have a picture of my engine bay here as well with 2 different color circles of the areas where I do believe you are talking about. There is one that is Red and one that is Blue. If you do not mind. Could you please tell me what area I should be taking apart please?

Re: Having puddle in back seat troubles.
This is not a big job. You are in the right area. Take the rubber band of than the plastic in red than the plastic in blue. Now you can see the gutter part. Take a picture once dismantled.
