somebody please help me. i removed the ashtray that ws held in by 2 screws and now i cant get it to sit rite and put the screws back in. i also dont have the keys to remove the stereo and climate controls. does anyone no what the trick is?

Check eBay for the radio removal keys, you can find a set real cheap, since all they are is thin sheet metal.
Once the radio is out, the climate control unit will pull out easily, its just a couple of spring clips holding it in.

I'm not sure about the ashtray, I have only ever removed the no tool removable tray, not the complete frame that screws in.

It's a snug fit for the ashtray and there's lots of stuff behind there that can shift to block it from fitting properly. Best to just save the headache and remove the radio and hvac controls. The radio keys should be readily availble for under $15.

Hey guys, i just figure out how to put the front ashtray back in its place.

I done it by taking off the stereo, the keys were made by me.

When you take off the stereo you get to put your hand right behind the A/C panel.

You should touch a kind of stuped piece of plastic about 1 inch from Left to Right on the lower of the A/C trim, well that piece of plastic is where you are going to point the other piece of plastic coming from the ashtray. With a little push the ashtray will be in its place again.

If you remember when you remove the hastray from the original place, you had to pull with some strength.

Hope you understand what i said. And hope you can get the front ashtray in its place.
