Factory or Aftermarket Rims?

Hey guys,

I have a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro Sport w / the factory 16" or 17" (can't remember the size) 5-spoke rims w / low profile tires.

Well today my tire blew for some unknown reason, and I wonder if it was due to the fact that my dealer said I have a slight "bend" in my rear left rim. Since they also have curb rash, I want new ones.

Should I get

a) factory 17's from the new bodystyle A4? (If its possible)

b) aftermarket factory replicas? How accurate are they compared to factories? Any recommendations?

Thanks!

If you are buying new rims, don't go stock! Put your own style into it, but keep it Euro. Depending on what A4 you have, your spare should be a full size alloy...throw that one on and save yourself 2 G-notes.

I'd go with aftermarket replicas just because I like personality in cars however its really up to you. With good replicas, you'll save your wallet from crying and at the same time get great wheels.

Do something that you think conveys who you are. If there is a rim you like, you should get it.

Go with the aftermarket rims for sure.
Each to their own, but I personally don't care too much for the 17's (double spoke design) on the current B7 A4.
