everything seems alright, but my engine light just turned on ? anyone have any ideas on how i can figure what might be the problem before i go to audi on upper james to find out, i'm thinking either an 02 sensor (but its pretty low on KM ) or turbo belt

It happens. Could be a million things, no way to know without getting it scanned. You can hopefully find someone in your area with a Vag Com to do it for you without going to the dealer.

well i found out, that one of the hoses have a rip, in it and air is escaping it, hoping thats the problem as thats a quick and cheap fix

The ripped hose is probably the culprit. But it could be the o2 sensor. How many K's are on your car. I currently had a CEL light on because of the 02 sensor and I only have 100K's on my car.

a CEL can be so many different reasons. Either get it vag com'ed or use a ODB II and let us know what the code is.

it was a hose that connects to the manifold, the car only has 93000 KM so it really shouldn't be the O2 sensor

Something is making the Check Engine Light (CEL) come on and when the CEL comes on, a code is stored. Now if, as they say, the light is on and no codes are stored, I would have to guess a bad Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
