Econ mode cannot be turned off
 

After getting the timing belt replaced the climate control system is stuck in Econ mode. 2004 A4 B6 3.0L. Any ideas what may cause this issue? Called the shop (good reputation for VW and Audi specificaly) that did the job immediately and he didn't have any suggestions... other than to bring it back to re-scan it for codes.
