Drivers Door Window & Lock Problem
 

Just bought a 2002 A4 quattro. The non of the power windows work and the drivers door power door lock control nor the actual power lock work. All the other doors lock with the remote. Drivers door locks with the key. Non of the controls light up on the drivers door either. Been told might be the LH power window motor controller but the dealerships wants to order me the LH motor regulator. Are they the same??

I had this exact same problem when i first got my 04 A4 quattro 1.8T. Took it to the dealership. Cost me about $150 in labour to fix. Turned out that i guess someone had left the window open in the rain. They cleaned the contacts and fixed some wiring. I dont think they replaced any parts. But it could definatly be the LH motor requlator. Specially if your window was left open and rain got at it.
